this is so frustrating!  finally it seems that i'm going to be able to post again - although it is still telling me something weird behind the scenes.

lots of stuff going on around here.  too much to catch up.  just going on from here.

we had harvest day last weekend (isn't that funny.... i said no catching up and that's the first thing i do!)

we followed some simple instructions we found on the internet and planted 'eye pieces' of a sweet potato.  and voila!  just like magic - a few months later, we have our very own itty crop of sweet taters!  not a bad little harvest for first timers

think i'll leave it here.... don't want to push my luck on getting an actual post in - crossing my fingers and clicking 'post'...
